Michael serves as an Elder at Birch Ridge Community Church, helping provide spiritual oversight, shepherding, prayer, and care for the church body. He has been especially involved in missions support, outreach, and teaching ministry, helping BRCC evaluate and support gospel-centered ministry partnerships while encouraging faithful biblical instruction within the church. Michael also works alongside the other Elders to guard the doctrine, unity, and spiritual health of BRCC and to help ensure that the church remains faithful in its teaching, discipleship, and mission.

Michael is married to his wife, Cindy, and together they have five children.
