Bio:
My name is Victoria Ray, I was born and have lived my whole life in Alaska apart from my short stint out of state to obtain my Bachelors of Science in Music and Pastoral Ministry at Bushnell University in Eugene, Oregon. I have always had a gifting for musical worship on my life and receiving my degree allowed me to expand my knowledge around music and my concept of Biblical worship. I moved back to Alaska to give back to the community I was raised in and to operate in my calling to expand God’s kingdom here on earth. I now have the honor and privilege of co directing the worship ministry at Birch Ridge Community Church alongside Joel Hagedorn. I am married to my husband Steven Ray and we have two beautiful children together. Biblical worship is the opportunity to step into and celebrate the ongoing Story of The Triune God started at the beginning of time. I know that each gathering of Christ’s Body the Church is an opportunity to connect to the Gatherings of Christians who have gone before us and will continue long after us, ultimately connecting us to the worship that is taking place in heaven forever. We serve a God who is outside of space and time and who will ultimately be worshiped for eternity. I view each church service as the unification of Christ’s Body and a way for us as fellow believers to step into God’s story collectively. My purpose on the worship team is to further God’s kingdom and to be an active vessel to be used for His plans here on earth.
